November 30, 2012, before the holiday, the Day of the First President of Kazakhstan, Mayor of the region met with entrepreneurs, heads of local executive bodies, law enforcement agencies and held a meeting on "Investment Climate and the elimination of administrative barriers".
The meeting was attended by deputy of the Majilis - E.Tarasenko, representatives ALE "West Kazakhstan region entrepreneurs Association", ALE NEC Union "Atameken", Director of the Regional affiliate of "Entrepreneurship Development Fund" Damu" in West Kazakhstan region, entrepreneurs, and representatives of media.
During the meeting, participants discussed urgent issues of entrepreneurship development in the region. Achievements have been noted and also problem issues for business development were discussed requiring decision from the local authorities.
As a regional mayor, N.Nogaev noted on innovation activity, the region today is on first place in the Republic. Thanks to favorable business and investment climate in the country created by the Head of the State, everyone has all the necessary conditions for the creation and successful development of a business. With financial support from the state, subjects of entrepreneurship develop new business ideas, thus creating new working places.
Moreover, this figure is due to productive work of the Regional affiliate of Fund "Damu" in West Kazakhstan region, in implementing the State program "Business Roadmap -2020", which started in 2010. "Damu-Ondіrіs" Program is been also implementing successfully. It is a Program for entrepreneurs engaged in the manufacturing sector. It was announced during the meeting by Director of entrepreneurship development Fund "Damu" in West Kazakhstan region - A.U. Salieva during the presentation of instruments of financial and non-financial support to small and medium businesses.
According the report of the director of the regional affiliate of Fund "Damu", asfor today, more than 150 projects in priority business sectors is being implemented under the "Business Roadmap-2020" Program, 13 of them - in the districts. Moreover, on behalf of the entrepreneurs participating in the program problems hindering the development of business and further successful implementation of the Program were announced as well. According to them, after receiving state support numerous inconsistent inspections by regulatory and law enforcement agencies impede the activities of enterprises.Summing up the results of the meeting, regional Mayor thanked all participants for the activism, called for further dialogue and cohesive work towards the implementation of the strategic national objectives set by the Head of state. He stressed the importance and willingness to improve the interaction between the business community, the executive and the law enforcement agencies, by setting them a common goal - to completely adapt the work under the creation of a favorable investment climate and ongoing work on the elimination of administrative barriers.
