Charwoman of the Board of Fund "Damu" Lyazzat Ibragimova took part in a briefing Service central communications of the President of Kazakhstan, where she presented the results of work on support of women's entrepreneurship, inviting all women with entrepreneurial initiative to actively participate in the programs of the Fund.
According to the head of the Fund, the proportion of female entrepreneurs participating in the support programs, is now 32 percent. In the framework of special loan programs supporting women's entrepreneurship, Fund “Damu” has already supported 826 women entrepreneurs in the amount of 4.2 billion tenge. Moreover, Fund "Damu" is not going to stop, planning to increase the share of women entrepreneurs that receive state support up to 40%.
“Fund "Damu" establishes its mission according to this principle: we want to increase the proportion of women decision-makers, to help them develop and expand their businesses, increase their incomes. That is to develop women's entrepreneurship both qualitatively and quantitatively,” - said Lyazzat Ibragimova.
Talking about specific success stories of Kazakhstan businesswoman, Chairwoman of the Board of Fund "Damu" urged everyone to support domestic producers, especially when a woman enters in a difficult competition for the consumer.
Company "Sweet" based in Uralsk now produces a wide range of bakery products, - highlighted Lyazzat Ibragimova to the journalists. - Before since 2001 almost ten years the director Ms. Abdigalieva was importing cookies and candies from Ukraine. Currently, taking her courage and guarantee of Fund “Damu”, she actually started a new confectionary. I was there, the smell of vanilla and sugar at the factory, of course, is felt a mile away. But it is not so "sweet" business, in fact, it is of course very difficult to compete with Russian and Ukrainian companies. Especially journalists ask: if you see a cookie that says "Sweet" LLC, West Kazakhstan," - be sure to buy, that you support our women entrepreneurs”.
On this occasion, Lyazzat Ibragimova invited all women who already have a business and those who just plan to start one, to take part in the programs implemented by Fund “Damu”. "Come to our business support centers, contact the regional branches of the fund, receive training - and you could do it," - she said.
