In the cities of Astana and Almaty, from 28 to 31 of July of the current year, Kazakh-American Commission conducted competitive interviews for the selection of entrepreneurs operating in the sector of light industry and want to do an internship in the United States on the project "Business Communication". Partner of «Damu» Fund in the organization of foreign training in the United States is the United States Agency for International Development (USAID).
The Commission included:
- On the part of "Damu" Fund - Zaure Masgutova, Director of International Cooperation and Distance Consulting Department;
- on the part of United States Agency for International Development (USAID) - Nils Bergeson, head of the Astana office, Lora Kudaibergenova Specialist of Economic Department;
- on the part of International Executive Service Corps (IESC) - Gauhar Yesentayeva, head of the "Business Communication" project in Kazakhstan, Yevgeniya Verbitskaya Assistant of the “Business Communication" Project in Kazakhstan;
- On the part of National Chamber of Entrepreneurs - Ruslan Iminov, expert of the 1st category of the economic analysis department, the evaluation of competitiveness and investment attractiveness of the business.
The results of selection contest will be known in mid-August, a trip with a group of entrepreneurs of "Light industry" is planned in October and November of this year.
Overall, the trip to America for business development within the project "Business Connections" from 2012, made 132 Kazakhstani representatives of small and medium-sized businesses. As a result, 13 Kazakh and American companies signed contracts worth more than $ 13 million.
