An entrepreneur from South Kazakhstan region Svetlana Sharipova received a loan on which, interest rate was subsidized. Svetlana with her husband Hamit Sharipov started the business back in 2004 in the trade industry, and then she decided to expand her business by developing a project for greenhouses using high-tech equipment for the production of environmentally friendly products.

The greenhouse was officially opened at end of 2012. Today in the greenhouse, managed by Hamit Sharipov there are 9 people employed, including one agronomist and 5 vegetable producers.

According to Hamit Sharipov, greenhouse complex, which in size above 20 thousand square meters equipped with the most modern equipment: "Material of walls-a special greenhouse film "Sulphur plastic", which allows to hold the desired temperature in the winter. Planting takes place in special substrates from coconut, treated with special minerals and fertilizers to provide the maximum amount of crop and very high quality products. It’s allows saving on fertilizer. Market for the finished product is very large. Realization is carried out at the place of business. Wholesale buyers leave application 3-5 days in advance for the certain amount of products. "

"Competition in our business is high, but we are not scary. Most of the existing greenhouses in our area are not designed to grow vegetables in the winter, since the greenhouses’ walls are covered with conventional polyethylene film, which entails high costs for heating. And it is also necessary for the soil. If you do not maintain a certain temperature, it affects the quality of the crop. Naturally, at low temperature the seedlings begin to fall sick, and entrepreneurs bear are the high cost of fertilizer, respectively grown products is not in very high quality, and the price is expensive. In my greenhouse, I installed equipment that allows to grow vegetables in the winter at an affordable price, "- explains Hamit.

Surely, own resources were insufficient to run expensive and large-scale greenhouses and funds were required. Loan for $ 122.0 million tenge was obtained in Eurasian Bank and the "Damu" Fund within the "Business Road Map- 2020" program pays part of the interest rate on the loan. The saved funds were invested in vegetable rising by entrepreneur.

It can be observed a rich harvest in greenhouse, where several varieties of tomatoes and cucumbers raised and all because vegetables are produced using advanced technologies. During the season, the greenhouse is capable of providing up to 450-500 tons of fresh, high-quality, environmentally friendly products.

More and more South-Kazakhstani entrepreneurs uses the "Business Road Map 2020" program, because it covers such beneficial tools as interest rate subsidy, provision of partial guarantees, provision of non-repayable grants as well as the opportunity to increase their knowledge and skills in the field of entrepreneurship, to establish business contacts with foreign companies and to invite foreign experts to assist in the production and training of personnel.
