The Actobe branch of the fund "Damu" has summarized activities of the past year. The branch officials say that entrepreneurs from rural area actively used instruments of the program "Business Road Map 2020" in 2015.
For instance, there were subsidized 129 projects by the branch in 2014, 28 of which were from rural area. However, in the past year they increased to 48 projects. 35 projects have received guarantee approvals in the rural area that is five times more than in 2014.
The branch officials reported growth of start-up projects that received guarantee approvals. In the previous year there were 20 of such projects while in 2014 – only 7. Moreover, there were supported 71 projects in the amount of 6.6 billion tenge within the program “Onderis” in Actobe region.
The Actobe branch of the fund expects impressive results in 2016 because of a signed cooperation memorandum between administration of the Actobe region and the Fund of support of youth entrepreneurship and SME business in rural area. It was allocated 900 mln tenge for these purposes.
