Kyzylorda region’s CES has provided 5.5 thousand services for local entrepreneurs

During the past year there were signed 76 subsidy agreements in the amount of 4.4 billion tenge and 50 projects received guarantees of the fund “Damu” in the amount of 0.75 billion tenge in the Kyzylorda region. Entrepreneurs have received concessionary loans in the amount of 1.6 billion tenge.

From the overall number of guarantees 12 projects were startups, 16 projects were located in rural area. 13 entrepreneurs from rural area received support under the program “Small Business – Big Opportunities”. All of them received interest-free unsecured loans for realization inclusive and innovative business ideas.

34 heads of Kyzylorda companies attended the training programs of the fund “Damu”. Some of them attended training courses of the Higher School of Business at the "Nazarbayev University" under the project "Small and Medium Business Top Management Training”. 22 businessmen participated in the trainings organised at the "KIMEP" University and at the International Academy "Turan-Profy." Individual entrepreneurs Almas Adilbaev and Valery Lee had free business training in Germany under the second phase of the project "Business Communication".

Under the component "Senior Experts" the regional branch of the fund for the implementation of new management techniques and human resources training engaged highly qualified specialists from the Netherlands. Individual entrepreneur Meiramkul Shashauova, who has a small bakery in the Aral region, and the director of the medical clinic "BMS" Serik Zholboldiev invited foreign experts who trained their staff and gave recommendations for the introduction of new management techniques.

Under the program "Damu-Komek" 25 entrepreneurs with disabilities received sponsorship help. Grants of up to 300 thousand tenge for starting and development the business were received by five entrepreneurs with disabilities under the sub-program "Look at the stars."

Qualified free entrepreneurs support was provided by CES (Center for Entrepreneurs Support) advisers. In 2015, the Center provided 5,446 services to entrepreneurs and people with entrepreneurial initiative in accounting, law, marketing and the government business support programs. On the basis of the CES during the past year there were organized and conducted more than 60 training sessions for beginning and existing businessmen. Under the program of youth start-up projects there was hold competition "Business Ideas Marathon". The winner was provided with grant for his project.

The MOBILE business support center of the region during the past year attended 124 remote districts of the Kyzylorda region, providing more than 1,500 services to their residents. In total during 2015, the mobile center made 96 trips in all areas of the region.
