The "Damu-Komek" aims to support entrepreneurs with disabilities by raising awareness about their problems and requirements for resources. Through this project, entrepreneurs with disabilities in all areas of the country could able to create and develop their own business. Since the beginning of implementation of "Damu-Komek" project (2010) more than 150 entrepreneurs with disabilities from Almaty region benefited from it.
Entrepreneurs with disabilities from Almaty region O. Ponomarev, S. Kulbaeva, Dalbaeva A., A. Beysenbinova, Akmurzaeva K., A. Ospanov, E. Mamyrbayev like and know how to sew. Skills in the sewing business, and most importantly, the desire to work and have a steady income for their families, is now enabling them to organize working from home on clothing repair and tailoring of textile products.
Each entrepreneur strives not only to material prosperity, but also realize themselves in a useful practice and to show that people with disabilities keep their head, and conversely - are highly motivated in the development of their social status.
In July 2016, on behalf of the sponsor of "Alel Agro" employees of "Damu" Fund has presented seven multifunction sewing machines to entrepreneurs.
