In accordance with decision of the Board of Directors of the National Managing Holding "Baiterek" made on 1 February at a meeting chaired by Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Karim Massimov, Kanysh A. Tuleushin was appointed to the position of chairman of the Board of "Damu" Entrepreneurship Development Fund" JSC, subsidiary company of the Holding. Prior to his appointment, Kanysh A. Tuleushin was the Managing Director - Member of Managing Board of the National Managing Holding "Baiterek".
Kanysh A. Tuleushin is a graduate of program "Bolashak", holds a Master of innovation management degree obtained with highest honor from the Oxford Brookes University, Oxford, UK in 2006. He also holds diploma with high distinctions (2014) from Eurasian National University, Astana, majoring in finance and credit.
He began his career in 2004 in JSC "Temirbank" as accountant-teller. Later he has been promoted to the position of Head of cash settlement department. Over the years Mr. Tuleushin served as consultant in JSC "National Center for Scientific and Technical Information", chief expert in JSC "Center for Trade Policy". In 2007 he headed the Innovation Policy department in the Ministry of Industry and Trade.
From 2008 to 2011, he worked in Administration of the President of Kazakhstan. In 2011 he was assigned as Vice - Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Since 2013 Mr. Tuleushin has held position as Managing Director - Member of Managing Board of the National Managing Holding "Baiterek".
Over the years, he took trainings at the School of Public Policy at Nazarbayev University in conjunction with the School of Public Policy named after Lee Kuan Yew, National University of Singapore on subject "Public Policy and Management", UNIDO training in Austria on "The Future of Manufacturing Industry", “Ernst & Young” Business School trainings on “Financial Modeling I: Model Development Technique and MS Excel Capabilities”, “Business Valuation”, “Mini MBA”.
He was awarded with diploma of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan as well as medal "20 years of Kazakhstan's independence". Prize winner of the Republican premium "Zhastar" (2011).
Lyazzat Ibragimova who earlier chaired the Board of the "Damu" Entrepreneurship Development Fund" JSC has become Deputy Chairman of the Management Board of National Managing Holding "Baiterek". Ex-Deputy Chairman the Management Board of National Managing Holding "Baiterek" Alina Aldambergen was relieved of the post due to transfer to another job.
