If for someone, the crisis is a problem, for others - the opportunities and new perspectives. Example of this – an entrepreneur from Taraz city Ahmed Aliyev, who, despite the difficult economic period, not only reduced the scale of production at the enterprise, but also increased its turnover.
Ahmed Aliyev had set up a furniture workshop more than a decade ago. Back to that time, his team consist of only three people including himself. At present the enterprise employs 12 experts, two of whom are recruited from the deaf community. Aliyev’s workshop manufactures kitchen furniture, bedrooms, wall units, living rooms, hallways, children's furniture. Despite the crisis, the enterprise is stable. According to the entrepreneur, all a matter of desire to work. Especially in a crisis, when you need to be interested in every customer.
A great support for "Aliyev" IE was the help of the "Damu" Fund within the framework of the "Business Road Map 2020" program. Two years ago, Ahmed Aliyev obtained loan from the “Halyk Bank of the Kazakhstan” for a total amount of 9 million tenge under 14% per annum, 7% of which is subsidized by the “Damu” entrepreneurship development fund” JSC, remaining part paid by the customer itself. "Aliyev" IE is one of the most successful projects that were financed in 2014 by the state. Thanks to the "BRM 2020" furniture workshop were able to purchase the necessary equipment, has expanded its production, improving the quality of work, increased the range of products and accelerated production time of orders.
- I am very grateful to the "Damu" Fund. I must admit that it is much easier to increase production with such support. I have acquired expensive equipment for furniture cutting and today I can proudly boast of the proposed range of our furniture and the quality of work performed, - reported Ahmed Kenzhebayevich about his brainchild.
